Central Sparks are delighted to release our playing shirt for the 2024 season, manufactured by Gray-Nicolls.
As we enter the fourth season as the centre of excellence for West Midlands Women’s cricket, our playing shirt is released which will be worn throughout the 2024 season, in both the Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
The shirt shows off our primary colours of warm purple, violet and charcoal, with a subtle hint of glowing yellow.
Our new shirt captures all our unique designs from over the years since our establishment in 2020. Going from a full glowing yellow design in 2020 to a charcoal, warm red, violet, and warm purple design for both 2021 and 2022, followed by a mostly charcoal one last year.
The shirt is manufactured by our sponsors Gray-Nicolls, who also produced our 2023 playing shirt. The new threads include printing on the back, with the player’s name below the respective numbers in our glowing yellow.
Sparks reached the final of the Charlotte Edwards Cup in 2022, while appearing in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy play-offs in 2020. You can catch a glimpse of the team wearing the new shirt at Edgbaston on Saturday 20 April in our season opener against The Blaze, in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
The shirt will be available to buy in Store ’94 at Edgbaston Stadium. Details of that will follow in due course.
