Spectator Guide – 2023 Home opener

Coming along to our home opener in Worcester?



The Central Sparks now have four home venues for 2023, and our first fixture on home turf is coming up this weekend, as the side face the Northern Diamonds in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.




Our HOME venues for 2023 are Edgbaston, New Road, Wormsley & Moseley cricket club.

Saturday 29 April

New Road, Worcester

Game start: 10.30am


This will be the second game for both sides in the 2023 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, and a chance for the Sparks to kick start their season after a narrow loss last time out against the Blaze. The Diamonds were victorious over Western Storm.


In recent games between the two, the Diamonds have come out on top three times, to the Sparks’ two wins.


Saturday’s game will be at New Road in Worcester, with gates opening at 9.30am. Worcestershire County Cricket club, 13 New Road, Worcester, WR2 4RL.


Tickets for this fixture are available online, on Worcestershire’s official website. Tickets will be priced at £5 for adults, with junior’s allowed entry for free!


If you are already a Sparks member, you can get into any of our home fixtures at a discounted price. If not, you can purchase a membership here!


If you are a Worcestershire member, you gain free access to this game, and our other fixtures at New Road.


Parking for the game is free for blue badge holders, and other limited parking is available. Entrance for New Road is through ground’s main reception.
