Three Central Sparks players have been named in the England test squad to face India next week, including a first-time call up for Emily Arlott.
Arlott has been a full time domestic professional with Central Sparks since December 2020. The seamer is one of the leading wicket takers in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, and is the current holder of the best bowling figures in an innings in the competition (5/29 from 8).
She is joined by seasoned England players Amy Jones and Sarah Glenn. Wicket-keeper batter Jones recently scored 163* in a stunning innings for Central Sparks vs Western Storm, while leg spinner Glenn took Sparks over the line against Northern Diamonds with an electric 71* (52).
