LAUREN ROWLES ACHIEVES ECB LEVEL 4 COACH STATUS

Central Sparks' Regional Talent Manager Lauren Rowles has recently achieved ECB Level 4 Specialist Coach status after completing the course.

After starting the course in November 2021, it's been a long time coming for Rowles, who has worked extremely hard both with the Sparks pathway programme, the county game and with the course itself.

On receiving the qualification, Rowles said: "It means a lot to me to be one of only a small number of females to have completed the course over the years.

"Naturally I'm buzzing to have completed the course - on the whole I've developed a lot over the last few years.

"Whilst undertaking the course I have grown technically and tactically, but most importantly working collaboratively with staff and players.

"Especially working with other stakeholders effectively has been really important for my development."

Working with the Sparks' youth pathway since 2020, Rowles has continued the upward trajectory of development with the regional side, as well as also working with England's Learning Disability Men's team in a tour of South Africa at the end of last year.

Rowles finally added: "I'm excited to continue to develop myself to be able to keep developing the players that I work with."

She continues to work with Sparks in 2024, as the Academy & EPP seasons kickstart beside the first team setup.

Congratulations, Lauren!
