Fans can enjoy from a T20 double header on Saturday 26 June, with Birmingham Bears and Central Sparks both taking to the field at Edgbaston for the Club’s annual Community Day.
With tickets currently priced at just £15 for adults and free for under 16s, fans can watch the Bears take on Durham in the Vitality Blast at 2.30pm. This is followed at 6pm by Central Sparks clash with Southern Vipers in the Women’s Regional T20.
The day will include a host of family and community-led activities, subject to the latest COVID-guidelines. Full details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Sales & Marketing Director, Alex Perkins said: “It’s great that we can bring together the Bears and the Sparks for a full Saturday of T20 cricket and family entertainment.
“We’ve staged several domestic T20 double headers in the past and a Saturday in June, after COVID restrictions are scheduled to be lifted, presents the perfect opportunity to repeat this.
“We’ve also outlined this date as our annual Community Day and in the coming weeks we will reveal more on the range of family activities and entertainment for the day.”
Tickets for all seven Birmingham Bears home games in the Vitality Blast are on sale now with the first 1,500 tickets for each fixture available at the £15 Early Bird price for adults. Once these have sold, prices will increase to the advance price of £19 and then £25 on the gate. Under 16s remain completely free.
“We’ve already had such fantastic demand for tickets for this year’s Vitality Blast matches,” added Perkins. “There was a huge take up of tickets in the pre-sale window and Monday was the biggest Blast on-sale day that we’ve ever had.
“We can’t wait to get started and to welcome our fans back safely to Edgbaston.”
