SPARKS DUO WILL HEAD TO SRI LANKA

Charis Pavely and Davina Perrin have been named in England Women's U19 squad for the upcoming tri-series against Sri-Lanka and Australia.

The tri-series, which also includes Australia, will consist of both T20 and 50-over matches and will be played in late March to early April with the fixture dates yet to be confirmed.

Pavely and Perrin are both products of the Sparks' academy pathway. Perrin made her professional bow for Lloyd Tennant's side back in 2022, while Pavely debuted against the Western Storm in the Charlotte Edwards Cup last season.

Pavely then went on to score a half-century in just her fourth senior game at Guildford in a win over the South East Stars. While Perrin has impressed each time she has donned the Sparks shirt and was also selected as the youngest ever player in The Hundred, when she was picked up by the Birmingham Phoenix at just 15-years-old.

On the inclusion of the duo, Sparks Academy Head coach and England Women's U19 Assistant Darren Franklin said: "It is fantastic to see both Charis [Pavely] and Davina [Perrin] in the squad.

They have both worked extremely hard through their time with the Sparks and from knowing their play-styles, they will add some quality to the team selected to take on both Sri-Lanka and Australia."
