We are delighted to announce that in March the first team will be heading to Mumbai for a pre-season tour before the 2024 season commences.

Sparks will head to Mumbai to continue their preparations for the 2024 campaign with an outdoor tour from 17-25 March.

The team haven’t visited Mumbai before but will travel to India where they will play four T20s and two 50 over fixtures in their first action back on the field since mid-September.

Prior to the tour, Sparks will continue to train at Edgbaston’s indoor school and at the Alan Higgs centre in Coventry before Lloyd Tennant’s side head outdoors in March to then remain outside with the season opener against The Blaze just three weeks after the pre-season tour ends.

It will be an important test in the warm conditions Mumbai will provide, and as well as playing six games in eight days the team will also train in between to ramp up the intensity.

Information on finer details of squad selection and who we will play in India will follow in due course.
